Install

  1. Open the .dmg you downloaded.
  2. Drag RyDF into your Applications folder.
  3. Launch it. Because alpha builds aren't notarized yet, macOS may say the app “can't be opened.” If so, right-click (or Control-click) RyDF in Applications, choose Open, then confirm — you only need to do this once.
Updating. Once you're on a build with auto-update, RyDF can check GitHub for new versions and download them for you — on a schedule you choose in Preferences ▸ Updates, or only when you ask. Until then, just download a newer build here and drag it over the old one.

Set RyDF as your PDF opener (optional)

Right-click any PDF in Finder → Get Info → under Open with choose RyDF → Change All… to make it the default for every PDF. You can also right-click a PDF and use Open With ▸ RyDF any time.
